IAT Global is leading manufacturer specializing in industrial design, automation controls and robotic programming. Argent Architecture + Design served as architect of record for the company's new facility in Chatham, Ontario.
The 28,000 square foot facility houses manufacturing operations, including a 10 ton crane, along with a two storey office area. Facing Highway 401, the exterior look of the building was highly important. A clean, modern look was attained through the use of expansive glazing, dark masonry and white metal cladding.
